My entry for the November 2000 AD Online competition – Otto Sump

My drawing had the honour of being selected as BRIAN BOLLAND’S DROID’S CHOICE. This is a big deal, Brian Bolland has long been my favourite comic book artist. Two of the first graphic novels I bought featured his meticulous and evocative artwork. The first was a Titan collection of Judge Death, the second was Batman The Killing Joke. Both have been read countless times and the images contained within are indelibly etched in my mind. Inseparable from the words on the page.
